The Institute has been formed to assist companies, organizations and other entities in their quest to succeed in the present and future economy through the pursuit of innovation. The Institute’s focus is on innovative processes, techniques and culture in a leading edge framework. Our mission is to be action oriented in not only closing innovation capacity and performance gaps but in helping affiliated organizations lead in their fields. Collaboration between industry sectors, private sectors, academia and government will be our model.
The Institute has created a structure through which organizations can learn about innovation strategies, discuss best practices within their industries and across industry sectors, receive training, and incorporate innovation into their strategic vision. This structure will help our region and its organizations retain their competitiveness in the world economy.
In addition, the Institute will offer expertise in process innovation to assist companies in developing and deepening their culture of innovation. It will also provide services to enhance their innovation leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurements, and analysis of innovation. These services will include a focus on human resource management, process management and results for innovation.
